At 31, and with four world climbing championship titles to her name, Catherine Destivelle had already amassed numerous mountaineering achievements, notably the ascent of the Trango Tower in the Karakoram and the Bonatti Pillar on the Drus. On June 24 and July 4, 1991, she attempted to open a new route on the notoriously difficult west face of the Drus: alone, unsupported, and carrying 80 kilos of equipment. After 11 days and 11 nights battling the cold and the rock, on July 4, 1991, Catherine Destivelle reached the summit of the Drus. Following this solitary odyssey on one of the most beautiful faces in the Alps, the climbing star became a renowned mountaineer. Today, despite this line having disappeared in the major collapses of the Drus in the 2000s, Catherine Destivelle will become the first woman to have climbed the three great north faces of the Alps: the Grandes Jorasses, the Matterhorn and the Eiger – solo.

A mother, waiting for a visit through a hospital day, looks back on her life. Michael Aiuto, a former US Marine is awakened by a single drop of water. It's 11 AM. He is in a bed in a 5 star hotel room in Amsterdam, however his girlfriend is nowhere to be found. He is a veteran of combat from Iraq and Afghanistan. It's his 27th birthday. He takes a shower and has a chat with the house keeper which did not see his girlfriend. He is informed that in the room directly above his someone committed suicide. He decides to go around town to the places where they used to hang out together. A mysterious note sends him in search of her, on a journey through the shady streets of Amsterdam, visiting the bar he had a scuffle with four Moroccan men the night before. He thinks that they might have something to do with her disappearance. The bartender as an option gives him a phone number of a weapons dealer just in case if Michael wanted to feel more safe. He decides to visit the Police Station, where he is informed by Inspector Van Dijk that unless the person is missing for 24...

Glory Days is an American drama television series that aired from July 25 until September 13, 1990. The series followed the coming of age of four friends; Dave Rotecki who became a cop, Walker Lovejoy the struggling journalist, Dominic the college student and Triggs, the only one who as no idea who he wants to be. We follow these characters as they struggle to achieve success while maintaining the friendship that made them best friends in High School.
